The name IVORY TREE DESiGNS came from the Ivory Tree Game Lodge in the Pilanesburg National Park, South Africa. As founder and principle designer JODY ATKiNS explains: "I am passionate about everything that I do and wanted my business name to remind me of a place that I am passionate about and a time of great memories and learning too.
Choosing IVORY TREE DESiGNS as the name of my business is my way of showing my values, my passion and my enthusiasm for:
good design that works with, and grows with, your lifestyle; going the extra mile to ensure satisfaction; providing quality without costing the earth (in both the monetary and the environmental impact sense); noticing, and then resolving the small things that are only a problem when they are missing… …and doing all these in an environment that is warm, inviting, comforting and like a home from home
